Youth & Kids at No Drama = Varsity Programs

Today’s youth are often caught between sedentary lifestyles, and very early and intensive single- sport specialization. This has reduced physical activity- decreasing play, undermining motor skills development, increasing the risk of injury and adding to the increasing problem of childhood obesity.


We want to be a driving force behind healthier, happier and more active children and youth.


We want what is best for kids and teens.


We hope to impact them at a young age so that fitness and healthy lifestyles will be with them in the years to come.


Through our child and youth programs at No Drama we hope to make good movers, safe movers and young people that fall in love with being active regardless of sports, teams, or school.



 “Jr. Varsity” Run & Tumble Ninjas ages 5- 8

Thursdays at 4:00- 4:45 pm (45 min) 

  • 8 week session 
  • Starts February 3, 2022
  • Cost $100/ child

 

These little athletes will learn foundational movement skills such as Squats, Lunges, Pushing, Pulling, and Hip Hinging. They will improve major movement patterns and skills through varied simple workouts and game-based play.  This fun 45 minutes will encourage confidence and fitness in any tiny athlete.


Intermediate Varsity- ages 9- 12 

Tuesdays 4:25- 5:25 pm 

  • 8 week program 
  • Starts February 1, 2022
  • 12+ must be fully vaccinated
  • Cost $150/ youth

 

Description: These Intermediate athletes will learn foundational movement skills such as Squats, Lunges, Pushing, Pulling, and Hip Hinging. They will improve fitness and strength through varied workouts and game based play.  This fun 60 minutes will encourage confidence and fitness in any youth. 

Youth will have the opportunity to try a variety of equipment. Class will include games, short workouts and fun challenges!


Sr. Varsity- ages 13- 17 

Wednesdays 4:25- 5:25 pm 

  • 8 Week Program 
  • Starts February 2, 2022
  • 12+ must be fully vaccinated
  • Cost $150/ youth

 

Description: Young athletes will complete scaled versions of the WOD ( workout of the day) at a level that is appropriate for each youth. Different workouts and movements will happen each class. Quality of movement before load or weight will always be top priority. Athletes will be directed to move weight according to ability and strength as well as learn the importance of teamwork, encouragement and leaving no one behind.  

Our young athletes will be taught proper form and bracing through each movement. Workouts will include game elements and fun challenges! Youth will have the opportunity to try a variety of equipment including barbells, dumbbells and more!
